Business Continuity
Our approach to business continuity is to take the best aspects of international standards, blend these with our own experiences, and then customise a solution that meets to the needs of our clients.
Although we tailor our approach to each client, we work with a range of recognised guidelines for business continuity. We do this to ensure compliance with recognised standards, including:
- AS/NZS 5050:2010. Business Continuity - Managing Disruption-Related Risk
- British Standard BS25999
We are guided by the Business Continuity Institute definition of business continuity management:
“a holistic management process that identifies potential impacts that threaten an organisation and provides a framework for building resilience and the capability for an effective response that safeguards the interests of its key stakeholders, reputation, brand and value creating activities.”
This means we work to ensure business continuity is linked with information technology disaster recovery, crisis management and any risk management frameworks. We ensure there is integration of all these elements and that the level of preparedness is appropriate to our client’s needs.
