Exercise Capital Quake (November 2006)

Exercise Capital Quake ‘06 was an all-of-nation earthquake simulation exercise held over two days in November 2006. Approximately 1,000 participants from more than 50 organisations were directly involved, including local and central government agencies and private companies, making it one of the largest exercises held in New Zealand at that time.

Canterbury District Health Board - Exercise (April 2005)

Kestrel Group developed and delivered a tabletop exercise to the Canterbury District Health Board Executive Management Team and representatives of various CDHB providers. The workshop/exercise was designed to review response to a large-scale regional incident, and identify improvements to the CDHB Response Plan.

Community and Public Health - Exercise (May 2004)

Kestrel Group assisted Community and Public Health to deliver an exercise to provide staff members with a learning opportunity in emergency response, and to test aspects of the C&PH Emergency Response Plan.

Shell Todd Oil Services - Annual Exercise (December 2003)

Kestrel Group developed and delivered a set of scenarios designed to exercise the interface between the Corporate response and response at numerous STOS operational sites - including the Maui platform. This included a post-exercise report identifying issues and improvements to the response process.

Gas Association of New Zealand - NGOCP Exercise (September 2003)

Kestrel Group produced an exercise to test the National Gas Outage Contingency Plan (NGOCP). The complex exercise involved participating companies, organisations and Government agencies from Auckland, Taranaki and Wellington and took place in September 2003.
